This summer, several National Sports Organizations are holding youth camps across the country. USA Deaf Soccer held their Leadership Camp for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Girls from June 6-10 at the Georgia School for the Deaf in Cave Spring, Georgia. From June 8 to June 15, the 46th annual Stan Mikita Hockey School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, run by AHIHA, took place just outside Chicago, in Bensenville, Illinois. This week, the US Deaf Elite Volleyball Camp celebrates its 20th annual camp in Indianapolis, Indiana from June 15-19.
In addition, the John Perry Gallaudet Basketball Camp will take place from June 30 to July 5 at the American School for the Deaf in West Hartford, Connecticut, and the National Deaf Girls Basketball Camp will take place from July 27 to 31 at the Maryland School for the Deaf on its Frederick campus.
